Case 39 (2010)

This one stars renee zellweger (murder in the heartland) and a little girl played by Jodelle Ferland. also there's this guy who i thought was robert dinero for a sec but it turns out it wasn't him

these aren't the same people. dont even really look that much alike

the story starts with the girl at her parents house. her parents are cannibals and are planning to eat her. they throw her in the oven and start licking their lips. renee doesn't like that so she has her parents go to an insane asylum. renee's maternal clock was ticking pretty loud so she snatched up the kid as her own. after this the story starts getting a little confusing for me. i grabbed some taco bell before the movie so i was making frequent bathroom trips so i missed a few scenes.

after "dropping some kids off at school" (liquid kids) i noticed this guy had wasps flying out of his head. what the heck! also suddenly renee doesn't like her kid anymore. guess she kinda rushed into the whole wanting a kid thing. things progress as renee hates her kid more and more and i check into the bathroom a few more times and when i came back the theater was empty. guess they stopped the movie early or something.

there are a few confusing things about this movie (besides renee's own confusion about whether she wants kids or not). There aren't any cell phones harldy at all. There's all these old corded phones and gigantic cordless phones. also theres a school bus in the movie and i noticed the people who make them call themselves blue bird. what the heck? why not yellow bird buses are yellow???

so the story about a mom who rushes into having a kid but soon learns its tough and tries to get rid of it is pretty interesting but because of those two points i just mentioned i'm going to have to give it my lowest rating ** two stars

the social network (2010)

OkaY starting out with this movie review i will have to admit i haven't seen it, and i only barely remember the trailer.

Before we jump into the review, i'd like to give a little info on the topic at hand: Facebook. Facebook can be found at www.facebook.com and you can post pictures of your new haircuts on it.

This movie stars Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, Brenda Song (this name soundss made up, possibly someone too embarrassed to use their real name), and others. Who the heck are these people?

It's about the creation of social network giant face book and how they had to run around a lot and there are people constantly yelling and there's a lot of computer lingo. It's set up as a court drama and the judge has a gavel.

Above: Screen cap from a users' Facebook page. Facebook a social networking website launched in February 2004

Napster guy (played by Timberland) wants to attatch his name to it since no one likes nampster anymore. Facebook guy refuses and thats why theyre in court. They both give good testimonies in a scene obviously inspired by "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington".

I'm not sure why you would go see a movie about a website, unless it's a movie about this blog. For this reason i'm awarding this movie my lowest rating, two stars **

Inception (2010)

This movie stars leonard dicaprio (titanic) and elan paige (juno, those commercials she's in) in a movie about sleeping.

This is a movie about a guy who build a machine where he breaks into peoples dreams and steals their secrets.

The movie seems loosely based off the McDonald's character "Hamburglar" who often tries to steal Ronald McDonald and Co's hamburgers.

Hamburglar first appeared in March of 1971 and was the first villain in the McDonald's ads. He is dressed in black and white indicating he has recently broken out of jail, probably for stealing hamburgers. He often says things like "Robble Robble!" He loves playing tricks on his friends and loves stealing burgers. Although his age is never determined, he is often thought to be a child or at least feature child-like characteristics. It isn't common, but some assume he steals just ham, making him a ham burglar but this is incorrect.

In conclusion this movie was pretty good, but I'll have to knock a few points off due to all the hype surrounding it.

iron man 2

this is the sequel to iron man one and stars tony star as iron man. as we already know iron man is half machine half man, and he has to deal with having a robot heart.

a russian guy with whips doesn't like iron man (i dont remember why) and he goes and screws his car up and iron man arrests him. some guy gets whip man out of jail and has him build some iron men with out the men so iron man isn't lonely.

meanwhile iron mans brother becomes war machine and they fight because iron man doesnt think his brother should become a machine that mass produces wars.

later whip guys army goes out but iron man and his brother kill them and then his brother flies away to start a war. iron man then marries a lady who was living in his house and a lot of credits roll.

now lets get the most obvious thig out of the way: really good special effects! there are some scenes when you can see tony stars head when the makeup runs off or somethimes he forgets to get in the suit at all, which detracts greatly from the film and im surprised they didnt notice it in editing.

The Last Exorcist (2010)

This movie is about a guy who doesn't like his job, like the popular comedy "office space". Unlike the popular movie office space" it doesn't contain many jokes which is good because it's a horror movie.

in the movie the guy has a sick son and he pass his hospital bills by making spooky noises in little girls' bedrooms and then their dad pays him several hundred dollars to go away. he calls these "exorcises". He seems to be in pretty good shape but i doubt its from doing just that.

later on he comes across this girl who is a super villain and does spooky things. turns out she's not a super villain but the devil is, and he lives inside her. later they go to a big bonfire and body parts fall off some people.

Well i for one didn't like it. talk about a low budget! they made the camera man one of the stars of the movie, and i guess he brought his home video camera with him and they let him use it. not to mention that you can tell a girl wrote some parts of the movie, like the 10-15 minutes where they talk about shoes.
